About the Journal
Jurnal Teknologi dan Industri Pertanian Indonesia (E-ISSN: 2442 - 7020, P-ISSN 2085 - 4927) is an an open-access journal published twice a year (April and October) published by the Department of Agricultural Product Technology, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh, Indonesia.
The printed version of Jurnal Teknologi dan Industri Pertanian Indonesia (JTIPI) has been published since 2009, while the online version has been available since 2012. The journal is indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Google Scholar, and the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (SINTA 3).
JRKL has been accredited as a SINTA 3 journal since 2018, based on the Decree of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education No. 28/E/KPT/2019, and its accreditation was extended through the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology No. 152/E/KPT/2023.
Beginning with Volume 15, Number 1 (2023), JTIPI adopted a continuous publishing model. Under this system, articles are published online as soon as they are finalized, ensuring a steady flow of timely, high-quality content. At the end of each issue cycle, the articles are compiled for print, and the next issue begins online. This approach allows readers, students, and researchers to access and cite articles more quickly, as publication is no longer bound by the print schedule.
The scope of the journal includes postharvest technology, food chemistry and technology that is industrial relevance and offers industry and academia strategies to develop quality food, and agricultural based products.
The editors welcome manuscripts in the form of research articles or literature reviews in the above fields. Manuscripts submitted to JTIPI must be original and must not have been submitted to, or be under consideration by other journals.
In 2026, JTIPI has transitioned to this new online journal management system designed to improve performance, security, and usability for authors and readers. Beginning with the 2026 issues, all submissions and publications will be managed through this website (https://publications.usk.ac.id/jtipi). Articles published before 2026 will remain available on the previous platform at https://jurnal.usk.ac.id/TIPI
