Jurnal Agripet

Jurnal Agripet is an open-access, online journal that encompasses a broad range of research topics in animal science and biotechnology, including animal physiology and nutrition, feed processing and technology, animal production, animal genetics, breeding and reproduction, meat and milk science, animal health, behavior and welfare, as well as animal housing and livestock farming systems.
Jurnal Agripet publishes original research results on animals, with a focus on farm animals, both ruminants and non-ruminants. Studies on other animal species may also be considered for publication if the research topics are still related to aspects of farm animals.
Jurnal Agripet is scientific journal and published twice a year (April and October) since 2000. The article published in Jurnal Agripet can be written either in Indonesian or in English. Since April 2016, abstract has to be presented in both languages Indonesian and English. 
Jurnal Agripet is a peer reviewed journal published by Animal Husbandry Department, The Faculty of Agriculture, Uniyersitas Syiah Kuala which is indexed or abstracted in: Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ), Google Scholar, Indonesia OneSearch, Garuda Dikti, Indonesian Scientific Journal Database (ISJD), Indonesian Publication Index (IPI), EBSCO Information Services, Bielefeld Academic Search Engine (BASE), OCLC WorldCat and registered in Crossref with Digital Object Identifier (DOI) prefix 10.17969/agripet. 
Since September, 26, 2019, Jurnal Agripet has been accredited by Directorate General for Research Strengthening and Development, The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Indonesia based on its Decree No.  28/E/KPT/2019 with The category of SINTA 2. and extended until 2027 based on its Decree No. 152/E/KPT/2023 dated September, 25.2023.
